  • Fund or partially fund academic qualifications in formal tertiary education
  • Support applications from outside of the UK

Jim Jackson Educational Support

How We Help?

Each case will be different, tailored to the individual. We have 3 clears pots that we like to aim our support.

Educational Fund
  • Supporting a third-party organisation with funding so they can take on an apprentice
  • Financial support for courses and training
  • Partial funding of training
  • Financial aid for further education
  • Sourcing and funding the right training modules to assist with such things as English as a second language, interviewing techniques, negotiating skills, business etiquette, networking.
Enabling Fund
  • Assistance with the provision of computer hardware, software and assistance with the costs of licenses, security systems and other technology-based aids.
  • Assisting with the funding of computer training and digital support to enable research, communication and professionalism.
  • Helping with communications – mobiles, broadband, printers and technology.
  • Access to a network of contacts that might assist in finding work placement, internships, part time exposure to the world of work, access to facilities.
  • Finding a safe place from which to work, with the right access to a desk, power sources, Wi-Fi, a postal address, a domain/safe email address.
  • Funding in order to take up a placement or job opportunity presented to you that you couldn’t take up without support.
Hardship Fund
  • Suitable work attire
  • Basic equipment to start a job or training course
  • Basic living expenses
