What are the aims of the foundation?

  • To enable and empower young people
  • Find solutions to specific issues arising from unfortunate circumstances
  • Source appropriate training and development opportunities relevant to individual applicants
  • Provide a network of support through other organisations
  • Assist in finding opportunities in the world of business

Who does it help?

  • Young people between the ages of 16-24
  • Individuals who are trying to get their foot into the business world or those who may have tried in the past and been unsuccessful due to obstacles

What sort of obstacles?

We aim to support those that have encountered circumstances that have created gaps in their education advancements and qualifications. These obstacles may include:

  • Interrupted learning
  • Health Problems (of individual or family)
  • Social Disadvantages

How does it help?

With funds and resources generously donated, we will have the opportunity to provide services and resources that will enable the Foundation to make a difference. Some examples are provided below:

  • Provision of technology aids
  • Funding of training in technology
  • Funding of communication equipment
  • Sourcing and funding relevant training courses
  • Training in basic business etiquette
  • Advice and simple financial planning
  • Funding basic necessities including transport and equipment costs
  • Access to a network of contacts for job placements and work exposure
  • Access to successful businesspeople and previous alumnae
  • Finding a safe place to work and study
  • Support with training modules designed to break barriers
